Google Fun
Google has been busy with my site lately. I don't know that anyone actually sticks around to read, but I thought I would share a few thoughts on the most common searches used to find me.
Bougainvillea woes
I wrote this post explaining how I whacked back my bougainvillea bush because of the extensive frost damage. A lot of you out there have a similar problem. My advice?? You can't really kill a bougainvillea with cold unless you planted it in an unwise environment. Cut back the plant..even to just a stump and it will return. I wrote that post back in February and already my plant is a bush again. So, don't be afraid. Dress in long sleeves, pants, shoes, heavy duty gloves and go at it. YOU CAN DO IT!
As for caring for my bougainvillea. I don't do much. It gets water occassionally and that is about it. Altho I have heard this is a great time of year to fertilize it.
Stars!
I have this image of a star in a past post:

Um people...this is the AUTOSHAPE STAR in WORD. To make all the pretty stars you want, just open up Microsoft Word. Find the autoshapes option and GO NUTS! :) There are lots of other fun shapes too.
Hukilau
Awhile back I wrote a post about the Hukilau song. Hukilau had been one of the words in the national spelling bee and I was so proud I knew what it meant. I was familiar with the song. So, all my fellow Hukilau friends, lets hula together!
Google image finder has been busy running its fingers through my posts lately. It has been focusing on clipart type images. I find it really interesting what people are looking for out there.

and this:

Those of you with Hallucinating Toddlers. Wow. I am sorry you child is so ill. I wish I had knowledge to help you out. Unfortunately (Fortunately?) the only hallucinations here are my own.
So, thank you google for all the hits. Could you maybe also convince people to stick around and visit too? We could talk about stars, hukilau and bougainvillea.
Oh and one final note. . .
Those of you looking for things like:
nice mel0ns bunch of pr!cks (words modified to prevent future such searches)
How did you find me?
Go away. Now!
