Me? A Princess? Who'd of Thunk it!

As a little girl, I loved Cinderella. Her rags to richest story complete with escape from tyranny appealed to me like no other fairy tale. In first grade, there was a book of the Disney film on the shelf. I would hurry through my school work, so that I would have free time to stare longingly at that book. Her beautiful dress, her grace, her magical fairy godmother and best of all her prince.

I grew up, got married, and don't find myself living in the palace. I am up way past midnight way too often and probably turned back into a pumpkin long ago.

Thank goodness when I went and took the princess quiz..I found out I never was supposed to be Cinderella anyway. No no no no, for some reason, I'm the naive and gullible:

In other news. . .

My father-in-law passed away last Friday. His funeral is this coming Friday. I will need all my superhero, princess powers through this one. Please, pray for my children if you are the praying type. Send them well wishes if not. This would be a good time for fairy godmother to show up and pass out the tissues.
