There Be Idiots Among Us!

The other day as I was driving to pick my kids up from swim team practice I saw a man riding a motorcycle. You might think what what a smart man to cut his gasoline costs by riding a motorcycle. Only, he was riding it funny. It was the style of motorcycle one has to basically press their chest to in order to hold the grips to drive. Like this:

Anyway, this man was driving it one handed, tilted up so he was almost sitting skewed upright. It was a rather odd sight. And then I saw why the man was riding the motorcycle so strangely. He had one of these between his fingers.


And I thought to myself, 'While riding that style of motorcycle on a busy city street, is it really the best time for a smoke break?'


I was then overjoyed to see him cut through a parking lot to skip the red light at the corner. All one handed, he turned onto the next busy street. Woot!

This has been my version of those deserving Darwin awards. I do hope he hasn't procreated.
