Bedtime

Conversation with my two-year old at bedtime last night.

Mom: Good night.
2 yr-old: Knock Knock.
Mom: Who's there?
2 yr-old: Apple.
Mom: Apple who?
2 yr-old: Don't cry! (said in a fake sad voice.)
Mom: Good night.

If you can't tell he's mixing up two different knock knock jokes. I turned off the light and laughed all the way out to the living room.

I LOVE two year old humour. I miss it a little, now that my kids are a little older. Although - Maddie still tells jokes similar to this one.

Too cute... we tried teaching the knock knock jokes here, too, and it hasn't caught on yet. Ha!
