Christmas Stockings
Hey! Christmas was great! The kids are back in school today and I am loving it. LOL
Before I pack way the stockings, as promised, here are some pics of them.

This is of all five stockings. If you click on the picture you will see the picture in more detail.
Then I thought I'd share some of my favorite parts of them.

This is on Brandon's stocking. I love how the lights turned out.

This is on Deborah's stocking. It may be tough to really see since the picture turned out a bit blurry but I love the flame on the candle. It is one of those moments when it turned out better than I had imagined when designing it.

This is Heather's bunny. Heather is my oldest and this was the first stocking I made ten years ago. I was really nervous about how it would turn out and was so surprised when it looked as good as it does. While, I now look at it and think how I could have done it better. I am still really proud of that 22 yr-old nervous new Momma that managed to do it in the first place.

I think this is a very pretty felt snowflake. We'll see how it stands the test of time and washing machines, but another moment when it turned out better than expected.
There are a few stories to the pictures chosen. Dale has three candy canes because he is a III. Brandon has a gift because he was our surprise baby, but has certainly been an amazing gift from God. Deborah's has two bears singing carols because her nickname is Bear Bear and her middle name is Carol. Heather was born the day before Easter and ever since has been our Bunny. Robert's has an orange, a banana and an apple in the stocking because Santa always bring one of each of those to my kids in their stockings. I think Santa hopes they won't just eat the candy.
All the stockings are made out of felt. The pictures are made from felt pieces and my odd style of embroidery. My mom made stockings for all her kids and I love mine. I hope my kids enjoy theirs in the years to come too.
So, there's a brief look into my family through Christmas Stockings.
I hope you all had very Happy Holidays and that your New Year is looking bright.

What a great tradition. I know they mean a lot to your kids now and will mean even more when they are grown.
You've obviously put a lot of time and hard work into these!
