Eight Year-Old Insight

Today my eight year-old son said:

"Mom, I wish we could just press fast forward and it would be next week."

After a few questions I learned his wish was because he wanted it to be den meeting time again.

How's that for a vote of confidence in me as Den Leader....Not even a month in...

It is so worth it all.

Talk about Den Leader Supreme!

Is there some kind of award we can nominate you for? ;)

I wish it were Sunday because at family Thanksgiving dinners I don't have to cook.

My mom was my Den leader too. She always made those Den meetings such fun...so much so that several other dens in the pack would meet with us. She was more of a pack leader than the pack leader!

I can understand his enthusiasm. Even into adulthood, he will always remember your envolvement in his young life. You were right on when you said it was all worth it. The memories you build will last forever. Good for you!
