Some Thoughts I Really Needed

I read this post over at OmegaMom's blog today.

For any mom who is feeling guilty for some of the mistakes made with her kids. This is for you. Our little mistakes and parts of living and we ought to get a bit better at forgiving ourselves.

You are ever so right. I asked my eldest what I could have done better to help her through her rough years and she said "nothing". I had many feelings of failure and guilt, but I think we forget they are people too who also make decisions whether good or bad. I didn't have to link because your statement "to forgive ourselves" says it all!

So did I. Thanks.

How's Phoenix? We're about 5 degrees cooler than you I think with twice the humidity.

Oh yes, what a great way to put things in perspective. Thanks for the heads up to that post.

Great advice! I think all mothers need to hear that.

it's crazy, but forgiving ourselves is one of the hardest things to do... and yet, comes with the greatest feeling of relief and satisfaction.
