Grass is greener true, but I do so love the sand.

You know what? I am crazy. I am as looney as they come. I don't know what I was thinking? All those who rolled their eyes over my wanting rain so desperately...you were right. I am nuts. Certifiable. Crazy.
Rain almost always brings...cold. I was so ignorant to complain about the endless 75 degree days.
So, I went and planned this trip to Seattle. I thought, it will be so great to get away..and experience something different. LOL....LOL..I'm nuts.
I don't own a true winter coat. I am going to have buy a warm coat for my trip to Seattle. I am so silly.

Check out the ten day forecast for Seattle...I leave Sunday and return Wednesday.

SEATTLE WEATHER

It is going to rain here, in Phoenix, on Saturday and maybe Sunday. I am very excited about that. We do need rain here. But otherwise, I should have bitten my tongue every time I complained about the dreadful sunshine. LOL

Check out the ten day forecast for Phoenix...Remember leave Sunday return Wednesday.

PHOENIX WEATHER

But you know what? I plan to have the time of my life. My mom, My husband (my two favorite adults in the whole world) and me...with NO children. I expect to toughen up and handle the cold and rain just fine. I just realized all of a sudden how absolutely crazy I've been for longing for cold and rain. I'll be kicking myself even harder come June. LOL

That whole grass is greener thing...not true.

Thank you so much for your kind wishes! I really appreciate it.

I am likin' your blog as well!

Rain can be lovely, as long as you are wearing the right stuff. With the wrong stuff, not so hot.

BTW, I'll be in Scottsdale next week myself!

Great post!

Just think how much you will appreciate your warm, sunny, non-rainy home after visiting Seattle! :)

You will have the perfect weather to enjoy all of the warm, cozy Seattle coffee shops! I like to think that their weather is the reason such shops exist!

I hope you have a lovely time, in spite of the forecast!

Yes hope, I should be careful what I wish for. And I do admire how you Canadians just suck it up. I am a desert rat and it would be quite the adjustment for me to live in snow. I have heard (don't ask me what the source is) that it take the body 2 years to adjust to living in a cold climate but only 6 mo to adjust to living in the heat.

My aunt and her famliy moved to phoenix many years back from Seattle. I remember them swimming in their unheated pool in November and not wearing sweaters when I was freezing. But by the next winter they were wondering how they did it.

I plan to enjoy my few days of climate change. I have my coat and gloves now so I should be good. My mom is very happy to be returning to her home town for a visit..just to visit. Nobody dying..no reunions. I've decided we will do whatever she fancies. And I expect a wonderful bonding opportunity.

Wow, this ended up so long I probably should have made it a post. LOL...thanks for getting me thinking ladies.
I value your comments.
